Here, we begin a series of blog entries where we list all sorts of free and useful resources for B2B marketing professionals that we managed to source online. Once we started, we were amazed by what we found.

In this post, we provide a directory of free stock photographs.

We found some interesting photo sites, with the stock pictures donated by both professional and amateur photographers. Some of these sites require you to credit the source, while others like Big Foto require you to save the photos on your server, so please check the terms and conditions of use.

Just a few of the image files have resolutions that can be used for offset printing. The scope of photos however, are limited when compared with professional stock libraries and the quality of the photographs vary significantly.

Our advice would be to stick with the commercial stock libraries for quality assurance, but if you are looking for free photos for say, internal communications, these sites are worth a try.
